OUR 1st POP UP SHOP!

John Lewis & Partners

We had a blast engaging in fun activities and creating unforgettable memories with some fantastic children and their families.

During this exciting time, we were honoured to have ‘The Boss’ – the real MouMou pay us a visit to ensure that we were upholding our brand standards to the tee!

The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive, with everyone showing immense love for our MouMou and Friends concept and brand. It was a pleasure meeting our community members in person and extending a warm welcome to them.

Heartfelt thanks to John Lewis & Partners for graciously hosting us at their esteemed Peter Jones store in Sloane Square, Central London.

We eagerly anticipate the chance to see you all again at our upcoming Pop-Up Shops and events.

Stay tuned on my LinkedIn for more exciting updates!

WHO SAID SUPERHEROES CAN'T HAVE DISABILITITES?

Did you know that MouMou is Real?

MouMou is an extraordinary little girl who just happens to have an extra chromosome.
Just like other kids, she loves excitement, escapades and having fun.  But unlike other kids, MouMou and her friends, Enzo and Harvey, have incredible superpowers that are revealed throughout the stories.

MouMou, Enzo and Harvey are all based on actual personalities. Their characters have been created to “normalise” children with special and/or additional needs through the eyes of other children. As we all grow up into young adults, seeing people in wheelchairs, looking “different” or taking longer to do what we can should be simply viewed as unremarkable. Instead of staring, wondering, and often unsure how to engage with someone who is perceived as “different”, MouMou, Enzo and Harvey encourage you all to just say hello and make new friends!

The aim of the stories is not to focus on “disabilities”, but to highlight that we all have more things in common that connect us than differentiate us, and to establish a WAB (We All Belong) culture to provide equity to all, acknowledging everyone’s value in society.  Most importantly, the stories are full of adventure, fun and will be enjoyed by children and adults of all ages.

The first book in the series is “The Great Hunt”, followed by the second book “More Than a Race”, with the third episode in the series “Flying High”.  Each of the stories follow on from each other, with gripping plots and hilarious antics throughout!

Series One, episodes 1 - 3
